How to Transform a Book Into a Course

A while back, I was enlisted by Andrew and Michael Port to transform their book The Referable Speaker into an online course on the business of speaking.  

However, after intensive study of the book and interviews with both of them, our very first version of this new course didn’t hit the mark.  That’s because the content followed the book chapter by chapter. 

But, Michael and Andrew wanted to take this content further… to help speakers not just understand the “what and why”... but also dig into the “how.”  We wanted to give our students practical, action-oriented steps they could use to build assets, design templates, and implement plans they would need to land more gigs, talk with prospects, and ultimately build a sustainable speaking career.
